1. About Grape
Grape is a personalised wine recommendation app operated by Grapemind ApS, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The app helps users discover wines that match their individual taste preferences based on ratings, taste quizzes, and AI-assisted recommendations. Grape does not sell wine and is not a retailer.
2. Age requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Grape. Wine is an alcoholic beverage, and this service is strictly intended for adults of legal drinking age in their country of residence. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to close accounts where there is reason to believe this requirement has not been met.
3. Your account
To use Grape, you need to create an account with a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@grapemind.com.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Grape only for its intended purpose — discovering and rating wines. You must not:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including fake wine ratings.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the app or its API without written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the app or its servers.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Use the app to promote or distribute alcohol to minors.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
5. Wine ratings and content
Your wine ratings and taste preferences are yours. By submitting ratings, you grant Grapemind a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that data to power recommendations — for you and, in anonymised and aggregated form, to improve the service for all users.
We do not publish or display individual user ratings publicly. Your taste profile is visible only to you within the app.
6. Recommendations and accuracy
Grape's recommendations are suggestions based on patterns in your taste data. They are not guarantees. Wine is subjective, and our recommendations will sometimes miss the mark. We make no warranty that any wine we recommend will match your expectations.
Prices and product availability shown in the app reflect information we have collected from wine shops. This information may not always be current — prices can change, and bottles can sell out. Always verify with the shop before purchasing.
7. Intellectual property
The Grape app, its design, software, branding, and all content created by Grapemind ApS are the intellectual property of Grapemind ApS and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our written consent.
The Grape brand name, logo, and "Grapemind" are trademarks of Grapemind ApS.
8. Third-party content
Grape may display information about wines sourced from third parties, including ratings from external sources, product images, and store data. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of third-party content. Links to external websites are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Grape is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grapemind ApS makes no warranties — express or implied — including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of content, or uninterrupted service. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or available at all times.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Danish law, Grapemind ApS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, loss of profits, or any damages resulting from acting on a wine recommendation.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Grape shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free users, is zero).
11. Changes to the service
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of Grape at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice for material changes that affect your use of the service. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. The current version will always be available at grapemind.com/terms. Continued use of the app after the effective date of revised terms constitutes your acceptance.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Grape shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you may also have the right to use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
